Posts on here involve more elaboration and detail and can expand the community seen on Discourse

Author Accounts

• Currently, account creation is restricted to general users for this portion of the Learning Community, but author accounts can be created by request
• The purpose of authors will be to generate posts on WordPress that encapsulate different ideas and topics in the AI-healthcare world
• Based on the content being shared, post may be related to discussions from the Discourse community, or be completely independent
• Once an account is setup for an author, the user will have access to creating new posts via the WordPress dashboard
• Authors can login anytime using the login button present at the bottom of every page

Posting

• A new post can be created at anytime from the dashboard or from the menu at the top of the page (when logged in)
• Posts can be a detailed, or as simple as you’d like
• WordPress offers many different types of functions when it comes to post design
• The guide below gives a good brief introductions into some of the ways you can create and manage a new post

Publishing to Discourse

• If you would like to publish your post to Discourse, you can do so with the “publish to Discourse” button in the upper righthand side of the screen

• You can select which category you want the post to be published under and you can link it to an already existing topic
• There is a lot of functionality involved when creating a post, so feel free to explore the different options during the process
